Women Active For Christ

The Women Active for Christ is a ministry for the women in our church. We are associated with the Free Will Baptist Women Nationally Active for Christ and follow many of the guidelines although we remain autonomous.

Our Purpose is to help Christian women find their place in the Great Commission.

~~~~NEWS~~~~

The Free Will Baptist State Meeting at Camp Beaverfork was a great meeting. It was decided at that meeting to change the date for the 'Ladies Only" meeting to be the second Saturday in March. The 'Men Only" meeting will be held August 8, 2012. There will also be a 'Fall Retreat" for the women, sometime in September, but no date is definite at this time. The next state meeting will be held in Memphis, July 15-18, 2012.

Thanks to everyone who helped to make the Rada Knife Sale, a success. We have decided to have a Fall Sale of Rada, starting October 9th and running for 2 weeks ending October 23rd.

Our meetings are held one Sunday afternoon of each month.

This was a HUGE success and we raised enough money to pay for the shipping on all of our Shoeboxes..... 

Cookies

 for the Community

The Cookie project was a wonderful success. Cookie trays were taken to several places in the community.

In January of each new year, we collect cans of soup to distribute to various charities as needed.
